Baby Alessia- Lillie Biesinger: Coachella Valley Newborn Photographer

This is the beautiful baby girl of my sister-in-law, Tere's sister--- Mari. So... Tere's niece... did you follow? It doesn't matter--- I just hope you enjoy her gorgeous little face half as much as I did. This is her big brother Estaban... big brother meaning a whole 11 months older. Mari--- I don't know how you do it! You and Tere are obviously sisters.

Well this was tricky since the rain didn't let up like we hoped and Ashley didn't dare reschedule for fear having no more "maternity" to work with.... if you know what I mean.

So we did our best with the light we had amidst the clouds through my windows... and they did let me drag them out in the rain for a few minutes before we surrendered. I get to do her newborn shots soon, and I'm so excited to follow the journey of their baby girl

I searched for a photo of JUST me for this section... to no avail.

So many photos... but the chances of me getting on the other side of the camera without somebody I love in my arms is very unlikely

-- so this will have to do.

What would I do without my crew anyway? I can just see myself standing there all awkward... "I don't know what to do with my arms!"

Clearly-- I'm a mommy. I'm a wife. I cook and clean and always wish I did both better. More importantly, I read with silly voices and teach when there's an opportunity and tickle tiny tummies and kiss all sorts of owies.

I switch out my work-out pants for jeans a few times a week and pull out the flat iron for date night. Sometimes a second coat of mascara. va va voom.

I find life to be SO sweet. Just as it is.

I have three under 6, and I complain about the hard days with the best of 'em. But that's mostly just because I have a very weak filter (working on it). If my stomach growls three times in ten minutes you will most likely hear that I'm hungry -- three times--- in ten minutes. My husband loves this about me.

In my defense, I don't even know that I do it.

BUT--- amidst my complaints, I genuinely believe there is no greater calling or joy in life --- than parenting--- and that I am literally THE LUCKIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD because of my family.

I hope everyone feels that way--- and that I can capture it in photo...

so you can frame it on your wall ...

so you can remember it on the hard days. :)

Have you given any thought to...

A chance to get a GO-jus photo of yourself. Because let's face it, you're never gonna get it spending all your time on that side of the camera. It's your turn to SHINE mama! ;)

No but really. It's a good excuse to get a great photo of yourself in your husbands hands. For his office or just for your records (you're not always going to be this beautiful:)) ... or whatever. If it's something you've always kind of wished you had, act fast. It just occurred to me to offer this (well occurred to me through Bluelily's inspiration I should say) and I didn't leave us tons of time. :)

My precious nephew and his daddy...

Brooke's "Head" shots....

This is my sister-in law.... she's a pilates instructor/dancer, and mother of two. Did you think I jumbled up that sentence because those words shouldn't be able to go together? I didn't.

Now you know why I get so body-conscious when I'm at Ross' house. (You'd know better if it wasn't so cold and Brooke was in less, but what kind of photographer do you think I am anyway?). There's Brooke, and three other brothers, all of which have a waist to shoulder ratio straight out of a Disney movie and eat things like rolled oats with water and protein powder. (Ok that's just Jared, but still--- just made me want to eat MORE mint oreos. Seriously.)

But anyway- here's my cute sister-in-law, Brooke.
