22, 21, 19, and 4. Guess who was the surprise? :) Indio Family Photographer

This is what happened the first time I said, "ok! Get cheek to cheek!"

Then I clarified.

That's right... ALL three of them are leaving on missions for our church soon.... and the proud parents:

Not quite empty nesters with little Ethan back at home... in fact after watching him in action, I'm pretty sure they'll have their hands plenty full. :) With two grown brothers, this little man is TOUGH. But after watching all the laughs and smiles out of him when he was with his brothers and sister, (can you tell how fun they are? Because I didn't fake it somehow in these pictures... they were the real deal) ...I'm pretty sure he'll miss them.

Ummmm, can I just say thank you Amy and fam for laughing with me and not at me when I got us in trouble for trespassing on the train tracks and this "railroad cop", who totally had it out for me (right?), made us listen to him for like 30 minutes while he took down every last detail about us? Thank goodness we were done. Thank goodness you're a laughing family and if you were mad at me I couldn't tell. :) So sorry!

Amy, this is the one where he'd said he'd ticket me if I took a picture of him so I very slyly snapped it as it hung from my neck and a noisy train passed by. Hah.

Good luck Jake, Aaron, and Erika! What an exciting time.

Believe it or not... another "B family". San Diego Family Photographer- Palm Springs Family Photographer.

This is the brother of one of Ross' best friends from college. We got linked up through this crazy, small blogging world, and I got to get to know them and their family a little better while shooting their photos in Coronado last week. I FINALLY got to do a family at the beach! (they asked for ideas and I very subtly offered one option... :) Thanks Maria!) They just moved to San Diego from Georgia, so it seemed appropriate that they document their new life on the west coast. Coast, being the operative and wonderful word.

How about the cheeks on that one (above) !! Can you imagine why I would have a soft spot for her??? Here at the Biesinger house, we like some big cheeks on our babes.

Engaged couples make me happy:) - San Diego this time, but Palm Desert Photographer

This cute couple is from the desert, but the only night they could do it was when I was out here in San Diego, so they drove all the way out! They were excited for the nice weather and the drive. (Remember before kids, when long drives were like a vacation on their own?)
Can you imagine my excitement when they pulled up in this car?! It was hard for me to pull myself away from it to catch the golden field before we lost our light.

Not a good idea to shoot a newly engaged couple when you're apart from your husband. I planned on not missing him this trip-- too little time and too much to do in this great place!... but watching the way these two looked at eachother.... it was the real deal. Made me miss mine.
